JOYCE - CF Kick-Off Symposium

The symposium will launch the newly established core facility with an interesting scientific program and the opportunity to visit our facilites. All interested are welcome! The main goals of the symposium are to:

  • Celebrate that JOYCE has received the status of a Core Facility funded by the DFG (German Research Foundation)
  • Promote access to a highly advanced cloud and precipitation remote sensing monitoring system to the research community
  • Extend the operator and user community of JOYCE-CF by increasing national and international collaboration
  • Present the efforts within JOYCE-CF towards standardization of measurement configurations, calibration, quality control and retrieval development
  • Introduce JOYCE as a center of outreach for cloud and precipitation studies
