Content Basics of meteorological and geophysical prognostic modelling; numerical methods for ordinary and partial differential equations; numerical methods used in meteorological, geophysical and space-plasma prognostic models; initial and boundary conditions; meteorological, geophysical and space-plasma model examples
Prerequisites Basic knowledge of the geophysical fluid and linear algebra, basic knowledge of programming in Matlab, Fortran, C/C++ or similar.
